Confectionery Sunflower "Yellow Giant" - Helianthus annuus L.
Early ripening variety for northern regions!
A high-yielding hulling variety for obtaining large, striped seeds with big, tasty kernels.
Valued for its high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins ("the vitamin of youth"), contributing to the normalization of cholesterol metabolism.
Peeled sunflower seeds are added to salads, baked goods, used as breading for cutlets, or simply enjoyed as a healthy snack.
Plant height 120-140 cm. The seed head is large, turning downwards when ripe (nature's way of protecting the harvest from birds).
Seeds are sown in open ground in April-May according to the scheme 30x40 cm to a depth of 1.5-2 cm.
The variety has a high level of resistance to downy mildew and sunflower moth. It is distinguished by uniform flowering, ripening, and plant height (they stand like soldiers!).
